Scout Harding
He asked me if I'd seen a road with so much dust and sand and I said, "Listen, I've traveled every road in this here land."

After joining the Inquisition, Lace Harding… Yes, that is her actual first name. After joining the Inquisition, Lace Harding always led the way into each new area in need of an inquisiting. As the lead scout, it was her job to investigate a region before I arrived, establish a forward camp, and warn me of the dangers that lay ahead. A surface dwarf from Redcliffe who had spent her youth exploring the hills, Harding volunteered to show the Inquisition forces the lay of the land when they first arrived. After demonstrating her obvious skill, she was quickly recruited and named our head scout. Everywhere I went, Harding was waiting to fill me in on the area before moving on to the next one. The only time she stuck around was during our mission in Frostback Basin, where she stayed to escort Kenric and even helped plan the final attack on the Jaws of Hakkon. Harding also helped me discover something about myself, as she was the first female dwarf that I found unbearably adorable, but this turned out to be a running theme instead of an isolated incident. Quick with a bow and a joke, fantastic at her job and always optimistic, if I hadn’t fallen totally in love with Cassandra, I could definitely have seen myself pursuing Harding with more fervor. As things are, Lace remains a firm friend and invaluable asset to the Inquisition. After all, what’s better than seeing a welcoming face just before everything else in the area tries to tear it off?
I've been everywhere, man, crossed the deserts bare, man, I've breathed the mountain air, man. Of travel I've a'had my share, man, I've been everywhere.
